above is a pretty basic city centre map - the pink street in the
middle running from left to right is princes street - first place to find if you're
looking for broughton street and you don't know where to start. we are at the east end of
town but if you haven't got a compass stand on princes street and look at the big castle -
east is on your left. head east till you reach the end of princes street, when the
balmoral hotel is on your right you should veer left along the front of thistle hotel and
john lewis department store. this will take you to a large roundabout with the playhouse
theatre on it - broughton street is the second major exit and has a large church at top
left hand side. |
